THE DREAM COMES TRUE. PORTOSUMMAGA IN DIVISION B

«Porto-Porto- Porto!». The streets of Portogruaro resound with joy. The city celebrates the promotion to division B of Portosummaga, the Venetian David who defeats the Veronese Goliath. A dream come true, and coach Alessandro Calori is one of the main authors of this extraordinary result. An authoritative and precise guide that has enabled the team to grow match after match, challenge after challenge, to become a united and determined team, ready to change mode of play even during a match. Now the city of Portogruaro will be protagonist at national level and the fans know it. Parades and choruses around the Mecchia stadium welcomed the team when it returned from the final match. A roar of horns, burgundy T-shirts and choruses cheered the players and team manager Calori. An extraordinary event that had been pursued for twenty years, since 1990 when the two clubs merged, Portogruaro right in the middle of a company stagnation and Summaga just relegated to First division. The era of the Mio family, able to lay the foundations for fulfilling the great dream, had begun. It is division B and we continue to rise.
