Waterborne intumescent white paint, based on phosphate-ester, for the protection of elements in iron, galvanized iron, cast iron, indoor or outdoor (but not directly exposed to weathering), whose fire resistance must be increased.In case of fires with temperature ranges of 200/250° c, the paint develops a layer of foam (intumescence) on the treated surface, it is very compact and of considerable thickness which decreases considerably the transmission of heat in the materials, delaying the raising of the temperature and the loss of load-bearing capacity.
